Positive energy I love and enjoyed my stay

The room was mostly clean when we checked in. The bathtub had (still has) a black goo in 2 corners. The entire room was musty smelling and I don't know if I got used to the stink or if it aired out. The staircase leading to the room had brackets on the railing where it had been clearly taken off (by force or other means is up for debate) and that was an uncomfortable feeling, especially with children being around. No coffee maker in the room, but with that weird "trend" of washing underroos in coffee makers, it's more than understandable. There weren't many unsavory characters hanging around, which I really liked. One long term guest is extremely creepy (watch out ladies) and it took bolstering my firearm to make him leave me alone. One night my room smelled like weed, but the property owners fixed that almost instantly, which I liked. Overall, it was a good stay; quiet, lack of unsavory characters, etc. The biggest issues i had have been listed above and brought to the property owners attention. In my opinion, great stay for the money and I will be back in just a few months. The staff is wonderful, the property owners are extremely sweet, and the hotel itself is nestled in a good area (grocery store, fast food, convenience stores all nearby).

Great for a quick stop over. The breakfast is minimal but sufficient. The waffles were a bit to be desired, since the batter was so watery the waffles did not cook properly.
